Ben T.

Ben T. has a strong background in engineering and data management. Ben is currently working as the Director of Engineering at The Pokémon Company International since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Sr. Manager of Software Engineering and Manager of Software Engineering at the same company from November 2021 to December 2022 and September 2017 to November 2021 respectively. Before joining The Pokémon Company International, Ben worked as the Director of Engineering, Data Platform at IHS Markit from April 2015 to September 2017. Ben also had roles at RootMetrics, where they were the Director of Engineering, Data Warehouse & Tools from March 2014 to April 2015, and Principal Engineer, Data Warehouse from August 2013 to April 2015. Ben's earliest work experience was at Walgreens, where they worked as the eCommerce Data Architect from March 2012 to August 2013, and as the Lead Data Warehouse Engineer for Drugstore.com from June 2005 to August 2013.

Ben T. holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington. In addition to their degree, they have obtained two additional certifications. In January 2021, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in June 2023, Ben completed the Achieve Leadership Development Program and graduated from The Achieve Institute.
