Cheryl Platz is an accomplished creative director and design professional with extensive experience in the gaming and technology industries. Currently serving as the Creative Director at The Pokémon Company International and as an Adjunct Faculty at Carnegie Mellon University, Cheryl teaches a graduate elective on video game design. Cheryl founded Ideaplatz, a design consultancy specializing in emerging technologies and user interface strategies, and has held leadership roles at Scopely and Riot Games, where Cheryl drove user experience strategies for popular gaming platforms. With previous experience at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Microsoft, and Amazon, Cheryl has consistently enhanced user experiences across diverse projects, leveraging a strong background in human-computer interaction and design. Cheryl holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University.
