Dan Anscomb

Dan Anscomb is an experienced localisation management professional, currently serving as Manager, Localisation Management (Apps) at The Pokémon Company International since August 2016. With a comprehensive background in the localisation of video game titles and related materials, Dan has transitioned through various roles at the company, including Senior Localisation Associate and Localisation Associate, focusing on collaboration with internal and external teams, often utilizing Japanese for communication. Prior to this, Dan worked at Pole To Win UK London from July 2013 to August 2016, where responsibilities included project coordination, team supervision, and high-quality translation of AAA video games from Japanese to English. Dan's early career includes roles as an English Tutor at Wonderland English School, a Japanese-English interpreter, and a shop assistant at Asda. Dan holds a degree in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies with a focus on Japanese Studies from the University of Cambridge.
