Derk Bramer

Derk Bramer is an experienced localization editor with a diverse background in the gaming industry, currently serving as Localization Editor III at The Pokémon Company International since November 2020. In this role, Derk leads localization editing teams for in-development projects and manages a task force of marketing experts. Derk has previously held leadership positions in various Employee Resource Groups, focusing on professional development and cross-functional support. Prior to The Pokémon Company, Derk worked at XSEED Games as a Localization Editor and at Sega of America, where responsibilities included editing and managing teams. Derk holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of California, Davis, and is pursuing a Certificate of Proficiency in Game and Interactive Media Design at Irvine Valley College.
