Leon Suh's work experience begins in 1994 as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP. Leon then becomes a Controller at DataChannel, Inc. in 1999, and later transitions to a role as Sr. Manager of Business Process Improvement at Cingular Wireless in 2001. Leon then takes on various Director roles at Cingular Wireless from 2002 to 2005, focusing on performance & planning and virtual sales strategy. In 2005, they become the Corporate Controller at The Cobalt Group. Following this, Leon takes on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Powerit Solutions in 2008, where they remain until 2014. In 2014, Leon joins The Pokémon Company International as their Chief Financial Officer, leading various strategic initiatives and investments. Leon also serves as a board observer at Niantic, Inc. and Wicked Cool Toys.

Leon Suh completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington between 1989 and 1994. Leon later pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Seattle University, studying from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Leon Suh has obtained several certifications. In January 2021, they obtained a certification in Interpersonal Communication from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in November 2020, they attained certifications in "Insights on Working from Home's Largest-Ever Experiment" and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn.
