Torrie Dorrell

Torrie Dorrell has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Torrie started their career at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies where they created the first family music label and re-launched the family music label Kid Rhino. Torrie then moved to Universal/PolyGram Pictures where they established the first in-house licensing and merchandising division. At Vivendi Universal Games, they managed all marketing and sales efforts for Universal Interactive and Sierra Games, and also ran Black Label Games, a games studio focused on third-party IP and M-rated games. Torrie then joined Sony Online Entertainment as the SVP of Global Sales, Marketing & Communications, where they established a global strategic direction and increased ROI and margin.

Torrie later worked at T-Mobile as the VP of Applications, Content & Games, overseeing the development and G2M strategy of mobile apps and services. Torrie also worked at RealNetworks as the SVP of Digital & Strategy, Marketing & Communications. At Meteor Entertainment, Torrie served as the Chief Operating & Revenue Officer and was responsible for scaling and running all operations of the game publishing startup.

Torrie then moved to Xbox Game Studios Publishing where they held various roles, including Director of Customer Engagement, Consumer Products, eCommerce, Streaming & Communities, and Director of Business Strategy - F2P & GaaS Games. In these roles, they played a key role in transforming Microsoft game studios into games-as-a-service models and started up licensing and publishing for each studio.

Most recently, Torrie joined Harebrained Schemes as the COO, overseeing the company's operations. And currently, they are working as the VP of Digital Marketing & Communications at The Pokémon Company International.
