Parker Quinn

Parker Quinn is a Data Science Manager who currently works at Polco. Prior to working at Polco, Parker Quinn worked as an election forecaster at CNN. In this role, Parker Quinn created a predictive model of the elections for the U.S. House of Representatives for the CNN Politics team and CNN website. The model used machine learning and simulation techniques to forecast both district-level and national results for the 2018 midterm elections.

Prior to working at CNN, Parker Quinn worked as the Data Analytics Team Deputy Chief at the United States Air Force. In this role, Parker Quinn led advanced analytical modeling efforts for warfighting effectiveness, DOD policy, and economic tradeoffs. Parker Quinn also formed and directed teams from multiple organizations to provide advanced analytical support to senior leaders.

Parker Quinn has a Master’s Degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University, a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Air Force Academy, and Certifications from edX in edX Honor Code Certificate for The Analytics Edge, edX Honor Code Certificate for Data Science and Machine Learning Essentials, and Sabermetrics 101: Introduction to Baseball Analytics.
