Sameer Ali

Sameer Ali is a Vehicle Integration Engineer specializing in concept development at Polestar since May 2022. Prior to this role, Sameer served as Lead Architect for the underbody at ARRIVAL, managing a small team and overseeing the underbody package for the XL Van from concept to tooling release. Sameer also worked at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd as Lead Engineer for Package and Concepts, contributing to the vehicle packaging for AMRB003 / Valhalla. From September 2013 to June 2018, Sameer was a Body Design Engineer at Nissan Motor Corporation, focusing on platform and upper body parts, NVH design, and cost optimization. Sameer’s career began as an Intern Design Engineer at Timoney Technology Ltd, where a steering pivot was designed to enhance truck steering usability. Sameer holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dublin Institute of Technology, obtained in 2013.
