Steve Webb

Steve Webb is an experienced engineering professional specializing in automotive safety systems, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently, as Group Lead for Seating, Restraints, and Interiors CAE at Polestar since January 2019, Steve oversees the engineering development and integration of passive safety systems and seating. Previous roles include Principal Engineer positions at both Emerald Automotive and Lear Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed system integration for safety restraints and seating. Steve's expertise also extends to project management and engineering design, demonstrated during tenures at ZF TRW and Key Safety Systems, where significant contributions were made to seating and airbag systems for prominent automotive manufacturers. Steve holds a B.Eng Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University, complemented by an HNC qualification in the same field.
