Jim Turner

Jim Turner has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jim worked as a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Pole/Zero Corporation since 2020. Prior to that, they were an Advanced Lead Mechanical Engineer at GE Aviation from 2019 to 2020, where they conducted design analysis and presented technical reviews. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at L-3 Cincinnati Electronics, leading the design and production of flight-rated electronics hardware. Jim was also an Electrical Subteam Leader at Bearcat Motorsports in 2012, responsible for designing and maintaining the electrical system of a racecar. Jim gained experience as a Boiler Equipment Owner Co-op and Performance Analysis Co-op at Duke Energy in 2011 and 2012. Additionally, they served as a Combustion Turbine Mechanical Equipment Owner Co-op and Design and Drafting Co-op at Duke Energy from 2010 to 2011, where they developed preventive maintenance plans and worked on EHS concerns. Jim's work experience also includes being a Field Manager at Blooms and Berries from 2004 to 2009.

Jim Turner earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 2013. Later, they pursued a Master's of Engineering degree in Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2015.
