Jay Hamilton

Jay Hamilton is a seasoned media and communications professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at StorySquad since January 2023, Hamilton focuses on video production and PR with a journalistic approach. As the Founder of Hamilton Media DC since June 2017, efforts are directed toward advancing companies and associations through digital PR, while also producing public affairs programming for PBS. In addition, Hamilton holds the role of Policy Expert at Poligage, providing public policy insights and communication strategies. Previous positions include Senior Vice President of Public Affairs & Communications at the Council on Competitiveness and Senior Director of Global Communications at Marriott International, where digital media strategies were emphasized. Early career roles included producing and reporting at WJLA-TV, Hamilton Productions, and CBS News. Hamilton earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
