Bill Shenk

Bill Shenk has had a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Bill began their career as a Software Validation Engineer at Intel Corporation in 2010. Bill then moved on to Learning.com, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2010 to 2014. At Learning.com, they collaborated with SCRUM teams and contributed to the development of a learning management system.

In 2014, Bill joined Pollinate as a Software Engineer, where they played a major role in the development of their 3D customization SaaS platform called Spectrum. Bill co-architected the frontend library and also contributed to the backend API and database. Bill utilized Spectrum and VueJS as the lead frontend developer to implement a custom experience for a global leader in gymnastics sportswear. Bill also used Spectrum in combination with AngularJS to develop custom products for Eddie Bauer jackets and Under Armour team uniforms.

As their career progressed at Pollinate, Bill took on the role of Implementation Team Lead in 2016. In this position, they managed the Client Implementation team and was responsible for bringing clients' visions for customizable products to life. Bill'steam integrated product data and 3D assets with ecommerce systems and manufacturing specifications, creating responsive user interfaces for B2B and B2C customers. Bill held this position until November 2021.

Recently, Bill has taken on the role of Software Architect at Pollinate in November 2021, where they continue to contribute their expertise to the company's projects.

Bill Shenk completed an Associate's degree in General Studies at Clackamas Community College from 2006 to 2008. Bill then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Portland State University, which they completed from 2009 to 2012.
