Tony O’sullivan

Founder & Chair at Pollination

Tony is Founder and Chair of Pollination. At the invitation of His Majesty King Charles III, in his former role as His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, Tony was appointed Chair of the Natural Capital Investment Alliance (NCIA) Taskforce in October 2022. The NCIA was formed in recognition of the need to mobilise investment in nature based economic opportunities. Tony also sits on His Majesty’s Sustainable Markets Initiative Advisory Board. In 2005, Tony founded O’Sullivan Partners, which became a leading investment bank in Australia, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Just seven years later, O’Sullivan Partners was acquired by pre-eminent Wall Street firm, Lazard Frères & Co, chaired at the time in Australia by its former Prime Minister, the Honourable Paul Keating. Prior to establishing O’Sullivan Partners, Tony was a London-based Managing Director of Bank of America, responsible for European Telecommunications and Technology, including Digital Infrastructure. Tony’s earlier career included being General Counsel, for several years, at a globally significant nickel and cobalt refinery. Tony has completed Private Equity & Venture Capital and Blockchain courses at Harvard Business School and Saϊd Business School (Oxford University) and he has also been admitted to practice as a Lawyer in various jurisdictions. Tony is a Founding Member of Oxford Blockchain Foundation. He was also a Member of the Council of The Serpentine Galleries in London, a former member of the Board of the State Library of New South Wales Foundation, and is a Founding Member of the Australian Architecture Associat
