Connor Chase

Connor Chase is currently a Software Developer at Pollstar. Prior to that, they held a position as a Crew Member at McDonald's from August 2019 to October 2019. Before that, they were a Calisthenics Instructor at the City of Davis from October 2015 to April 2019.

As a Calisthenics Instructor, Connor was responsible for tailoring instruction for participants depending on skill level, on the spot, and supervising up to 8 them at a time, while being observed by parents. Connor also showed initiative to maintain gym equipment by engaging in thorough and routine cleaning in order to keep a sanitary exercise environment and improve the client’s experience. Additionally, Connor managed positive relations with clients by listening to concerns, and using critical thinking and collaboration to incorporate empathetic solutions that directly addressed the clients’ concerns. Connor also explored limitations of gym equipment and experimented with new ideas to help craft an experience, motivated both by a passion to provide the best service for clients, and curiosity about how things function. Lastly, they demonstrated accountability by identifying areas of improvement with a supervisor and enacting solutions.

Connor Chase will attend the University of California, Davis and major in Computer Science. After completing their Bachelor's degree, they will most likely pursue a career in the field of computer science.

Connor Chase reports to Dan Martin, Chief Technology Officer. They work with Lino Gomez - Web Designer & Programmer, Dean Olmstead - Audience Engagement Manager, and Aj Bell - Network Administrator.
