Igor Šoštarić, Ph.D., is the Head of API R&D at Polpharma, where they focus on advancing process development and scale-up in the pharmaceutical industry. With extensive experience since 2002, they have led initiatives involving potent substances and technology transfers across international markets. Previously, Igor held significant roles at PLIVA and Teva Pharmaceuticals, emphasizing operations excellence and environmental safety. They earned multiple doctoral degrees in Reaction Engineering and Chemical Engineering from the University of Zagreb and continue to prioritize personal and professional development through training and new technology adoption.
