Ioana Mocanu

Ioana Mocanu is currently an Agent Design Engineer at PolyAI, focusing on creating conversational experiences while managing a team. Prior to this role, Ioana worked at Mind AI as a Computational Linguist and Ontologist, contributing to natural language processing and ontology development. Ioana also has experience as a freelance translator and interpreter, working with English and Romanian, and previously taught English as a Foreign Language. They hold a Master of Arts in Arabic/English Translation from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the University of Bucharest.
