Ashley Pearson is an innovative immunologist with engineering expertise, currently serving as a Project Mentor at Lumiere Education and Polygence, where they guide high school students in scientific project development and education. They work as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, investigating the impact of metastasis on the immune system through advanced experimental designs. Previously, Ashley was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the MIT Koch Institute, where they engineered immune signaling to enhance cancer response. They are also a dedicated STEM Tutor, delivering personalized educational support to students across various age groups. Ashley is pursuing a PhD in Immunology at the University of Michigan while holding a Bachelor's degree in Biological Engineering from MIT.
