Hanan Bloomer serves as a Pedagogy Consultant and Project Mentor at Polygence since July 2022, guiding high school students through personalized biology research projects. Previous experience includes an IRTA Postbac Fellowship at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute from September 2018 to August 2020, and a Public Health Internship at the Pan American Health Organization, where involvement included work within the Emergency Operations Center. Hanan's research background also encompasses roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Georgetown University’s LaRocque Lab and in the Shark Bay Dolphin Research Alliance, alongside an internship with Columbia University's Global Mental Health Program. Hanan is currently an MD/PhD candidate at Tufts University School of Medicine, having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Science/Pre-Medicine from Georgetown University.
