The core business of PolyGene is the generation and analysis of genetically modified animals for R&D purposes. Customized services include molecular biology technologies, such as vector cloning and cell biology services, such as gene targeting in embryonic stem (ES) cells or micro-injection of transgenes or ES-cells into zygotes or blastocysts.
State-of-the-art technologies cover the injection of TALENs for the generation of knockout / -in animals.Founded in 2002, PolyGene is run by a team of scientists with academic and industrial backgrounds. PolyGene is a privately held SME, located in the area of Zurich, Switzerland.
