Simon Liljestrand

Simon Liljestrand began their work experience in 2010 as the Chairman of the Board for the Moderate Youth League in Helsingborg. In 2012, they worked as a Student Trainee (Finance) for Sony Mobile Communications until 2015. From 2014 to 2015, they also held positions as a Project Leader and Member of the General Council for LundaEkonomerna. In 2016, they joined Deloitte Consulting as an Analyst and later became a Consultant and Senior Consultant, specializing in Technology, Strategy, and Transformation. In 2020, Liljestrand joined the Polygon Group as a Business Developer, responsible for defining and executing the company's long-term strategy, leading initiatives within IoT solutions, digital and commercial growth, and strategic acquisitions and integrations. Additionally, in 2022, they took on the role of Director of the Board for Caption Data Limited.

Simon Liljestrand completed their Bachelor's degree in the Bachelor programme in Design of Information Systems from Lund University from 2013 to 2016. Simon also had a brief exchange student experience at Singapore Management University in 2015, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued Business Management and Economics at Lund University. In addition to their academic achievements, Simon obtained the ITIL Foundation certification in September 2016 from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
