The materials industry still depends on petrochemical polymers. At POLYMERA, we are building the platform to replace them.

POLYMERA is a deep-tech biomaterials platform that develops bio-based materials from organisms capable of naturally producing functional polymers. Through biotechnological optimization and targeted industrial adaptation, we transform these polymers into high-performance solutions designed to integrate into existing processes.

🔬 OUR SCIENCE
We identify and characterize organisms that naturally produce polymers with advanced functional properties. By starting from biologically optimized structures, we reduce the need for complex synthetic modifications while maintaining high performance.

⚙️ INDUSTRIAL PLATFORM
Our approach is not limited to a single material. We are building a scalable platform capable of generating a new generation of bio-based materials with applications across multiple industries.

🚀 FIRST APPLICATION
High-performance bio-based superabsorbent polymers (bio-SAP).
• Hygiene applications.
• Agricultural applications.

🌍 INDUSTRIAL IMPACT
We focus on the progressive replacement of petrochemical materials, contributing to measurable reductions in carbon footprint, water footprint, and plastic impact.

Polymera partners with forward-thinking R&D teams, sustainability leaders, industrial players, and investors to accelerate the transition away from petrochemical materials. We deliver high-performance bio-based solutions ready to integrate into existing processes, enable measurable sustainability impact, and co-develop scalable applications with real industrial traction across sectors.
