John Barnes

John Barnes is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in technical support and administration. Currently serving as an IT Support Technician/Administrator under contract with Polyoak Packaging since June 2018, John manages various IT requirements including Active Directory credentials, Office365 setups, cloud storage, printer support, and general networking and hardware maintenance. Prior to this role, John worked at Livingtech from February 2017 to June 2018, providing after-hours support for backup infrastructure. Earlier experience includes a decade as an IT Manager at Workforce and a brief period as a Free Agent. John has achieved Matric in Economic Sciences from John Orr THS and holds A+ certifications from City and Guilds.
