Dhananjay Gadekar has extensive experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, having held various leadership positions. Dhananjay worked as Section Head of Quality Management System at Cipla from July 2009 to May 2016, followed by a role as Senior Manager at SUN PHARMA for a brief period in 2016-2017. Dhananjay served as Assistant Manager and then Manager (Head QA) at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited from August 2020 to July 2023. Currently, Dhananjay is the Head of Quality Assurance at PolyPeptide Group since July 2025. Dhananjay holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in the same field from the University of Pune, both achieved with top honors.
