Ünal Özarslan

Ünal Özarslan is a seasoned procurement leader with extensive experience in global procurement and supplier management across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Global Procurement at PolyPeptide Group since October 2024, Ünal previously held the role of Head of Global Procurement at Habasit, where responsibilities included establishing category management and developing procurement strategies. Prior to that, Ünal was Head of Global Indirect Procurement for Roche Diabetes Care, overseeing multiple category clusters and ensuring compliance with corporate objectives. With previous roles at Zimmer Biomet and Losan Pharma GmbH, Ünal has demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, compliance management, and operational excellence. Ünal is academically fortified with a Master of Science in Business & Economics from the University of Basel, along with leadership and management training from Harvard Business School.
