Prof. Erez Kachel

Prof. Erez Kachel is the Head of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Director of the ECMO Unit at Tzafon Medical Center in Israel, as well as the Deputy Director of the cardiac surgery department at Sheba Medical Center. With over a decade of surgical expertise, Erez is dedicated to advancing cardiac care and integrating innovative medical advancements into practice. Erez holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and has served as a medical consultant for several organizations, including PolyPid and Symbiosis. Erez is also a professor of cardiac surgery at Bar-Ilan University, focusing on bridging academic research with clinical practice through various clinical studies.
