Shmuel Sharoni

Shmuel Sharoni, MD, currently serves as Medical Director and Medical Manager at PolyPid Ltd., managing the medical and safety aspects of clinical studies from inception to final reporting, including protocol development and document review. Previous roles include Clinical Research Scientist at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc., Medical Assistant Surgeon at Asuta Medical Center, and Primary Care Physician at Clalit Health Services. Additionally, Shmuel worked as a Paramedic with Magen David Adom in Israel and completed a Medical Internship at Beilinson Medical Center. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Bar-Ilan University and a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Technology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev; Shmuel is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Bar-Ilan University from May 2024 to October 2025.
