Lauren Mickey has over 18 years of work experience. Lauren began their career in 2003 as a Customer Service Representative at General Shale Brick. During their time there, they worked extensively with SAP, entering orders, printing tickets for pick up and delivery, creating purchase orders, and closing cashbook. Lauren also assisted customers by phone and in person with placing various size orders for block and building material needs. In 2006, they moved to CEMEX as a Dispatcher, where they assisted customers by phone with placing full truckload and partial truckload orders of block and building materials, managed account information and payment history. Lauren utilized SAP to enter customer's orders and scheduled items for delivery. In 2012, they joined Interroll Group as an Inside Sales Representative, where they assisted customers on a daily basis by phone and email to determine which of their many products would be best suited for their application. Lauren also collaborated with Sales and Application Engineer teams to drive customer service and sales. Most recently, in 2021, they joined PolyQuest, Inc. as a Client Services Coordinator.
Lauren Mickey completed their high school diploma at Grimsley Senior High School between 1993 and 1996. Lauren then pursued a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) at Western Carolina University between 1996 and 1998. Finally, they earned an AAS in Information Systems at Guilford Technical Community College between 1999 and 2001.
