Louis Yang

Louis Yang started their work experience in 1999 as a Process Engineer at Applied Materials, where they negotiated machine acceptance criteria and researched advanced materials. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as an Account Technologist at Lam Research, improving production performance and successfully capturing new business. In 2006, they joined Abbott as a Principal Financial Analyst, leading the analysis of R&D project portfolios and strategizing new manufacturing plans. Louis then worked at Life Technologies as a Finance Manager and Senior Finance Manager from 2008 to 2011, where they managed financial responsibilities, conducted analyses, and led supply agreement negotiations. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Head of Finance at Klout, leading the company through a successful sale and raising funding through multiple rounds. Louis then worked at MemSQL as the Vice President of Finance from 2014 to 2019, managing a team and raising significant financing. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Vice President of Finance at ManyChat, where they managed a team and drove gross margin improvement. In 2021, they joined Pomelo, Inc. as the CFO.

Louis Yang received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 1994 to 1999. Louis then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from the USC Marshall School of Business from 2004 to 2006.
