Daniel Summerfield

Daniel Summerfield served as the Co-Head of Responsible Investment at USS Investment Management from 2002 to 2018, where they managed various public affairs activities and oversaw the implementation of a global engagement strategy. Prior to that, they held roles as Director of Research at the Holocaust Educational Trust from 1997 to 1998 and as Head of Governance at the Institute of Directors from 1998 to 2002. Currently, Daniel is the Business Development Director for the UK at Pomerantz LLP, focusing on securities litigation as the firm opens its London office. From 2018 to 2022, they also served as the Head of Corporate Affairs at Universities Superannuation Scheme (Ltd), where they managed external relations and communications strategy for the UK's largest pension fund manager.
