Bart van Els

Bart van Els is the Directeur Algemene Zaken at Pompestichting, a position held since 2024. Previously, Bart served as Plv. Divisiedirecteur Forensische Zorg/Justitiële Jeugdinrichtingen at the Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen from 2020 to 2024 and worked as Algemeen directeur at Rijks Justitiële Jeugdinrichting from 2015 to 2020. Bart has also held various management roles in local governments and private sectors, including interimmanager/adviseur at BMC Groep and gemeentesecretaris at Gemeente Haaren. Bart earned a master's degree in Dutch law from Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen and completed an Interdepartementale managementleergang (IML) at the Nederlandse school voor openbaar bestuur.
