PONDS is a privately owned retail holding company focused on the development, ownership and strategic management of footwear retail platforms across Central and Southeastern Europe.

The group operates a diversified portfolio of well-established retail brands, including MASS, HUMANIC and SHOE4YOU, as well as SKECHERS mono-brand stores under franchise agreements.

Across its companies, the group manages 280+ stores in nine European markets (AT, DE, CZ, SK, HU, SI, HR, RO, BG) and employs more than 2,500 people. The retail network includes 60 MASS stores, 200+ HUMANIC and SHOE4YOU stores, and 25+ SKECHERS mono-brand stores, complemented by multiple e-commerce platforms. The group holds the Skechers franchise license for Slovenia and Croatia since 2023, and for Austria since 2025.

In strategic partnership with Advance Capital Partners, PONDS successfully completed the acquisition of Leder & Schuh in Q1 2026. Through this transaction, PONDS assumed ownership of the group, significantly expanding its footprint to nine European markets and positioning it among the top 10 largest footwear retailers in Europe.

The group continues to develop its omnichannel capabilities, invest in digitalization and expand its retail footprint, while maintaining a partnership-driven approach with global brands.
