Bob Dewing is the Co-Founder and CIO at Pontoro. Bob has over 25 years of experience in infrastructure and project finance. Bob has a deep understanding of the financial markets and the regulatory landscape. Bob has a proven track record of successful investments in infrastructure projects.

Bob Dewing began their career at Anglo American, where they were a line manager. Bob then moved to Citigroup, where they were a managing director for over 26 years. During their time at Citigroup, Bob developed a novel investment paradigm and regulatory structure for the Infrastructure Debt Strategy. Bob also initiated a marketing strategy, established relationships with project counterparties, and built an investment team. By December 2015, Bob had invested $1.7B in over 70 projects.

In 2010, Bob Dewing became the Chairman of Global Geothermal Limited, a waste heat recovery power plant developer. Bob oversaw the construction of four plants by 2013.

Bob Dewing has also been a professor at Columbia University since 2009, lecturing on project finance.

Bob Dewing has an MBA in finance and operations research from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a degree in operations research from Stanford University, and a BSc Eng. (Hons) in mining engineering from Imperial College London.
