Joe Rowell is currently a Founding Engineer at poolside since October 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Doctoral Student at Royal Holloway, University of London from September 2017 to May 2024, where responsibilities involved teaching and marking in software engineering and moderating a distance learning forum. Joe also completed internships at Brave Software, focusing on TLS Attestation, and at optimyze, contributing to the Prodfiler project with PHP8 JIT profiling support. Joe holds a PhD in Computer Science obtained from Royal Holloway in September 2023, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution.
