Marah Abdin

Marah Abdin is currently the Synth Data Research Lead at Poolside, focusing on synthetic data research for training large language models. Previously, Marah worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Microsoft, concentrating on high-reasoning multi-step synthetic data creation. They also served as an AI Research Intern at Microsoft and a Xerox Engineering Research Fellow, where research centered on manufacturing transistors from 2D materials. Marah earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester and attended the University of Sydney for additional studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
