Amanda McDermott

Amanda McDermott currently serves as the Director of Total Rewards & HRIS at Poppulo since December 2020, where Amanda develops a global Total Rewards strategy focused on equity and competitiveness to attract and retain talent. Previously, Amanda held the position of Director of Global People Operations at Techstars, achieving notable accomplishments such as launching a global Employee Assistance Program during the pandemic and establishing a partnership with Mercer/Comptryx for enhanced global compensation benchmarking. Prior experience at Return Path included roles as Director, Sr. Manager, and Manager of People Operations, where Amanda implemented key HR initiatives, transitioned payroll across multiple countries, and introduced the company's first global human resources information system, Workday. Amanda holds a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
