Brian Sugar

Brian Sugar is an entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Sugar founded Sugar Capital and Avid Capital Advisors in 2020 and 2023, respectively. As a board member at Everlane since 2011 and founder of POPSUGAR, which merged with Group Nine Media in 2019, Sugar has been influential in the digital media landscape. Previous roles include Scout at Sequoia Capital, CEO of ShopStyle, which was sold to Rakuten, VP of Marketing at AT&T, and Chief Web Officer at Kmart. Sugar began a career in eCommerce as VP at J.Crew and founded Neptune.
