Amar Meka is an accomplished Information Technology professional with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as Information Technology Manager at Popular since June 2014, Amar has progressed through several positions including Information Technology Supervisor, Systems Architect, and AVP, Technical Lead/Project Manager. Prior experience includes tenure at Popular Community Bank from February 2005 to May 2014, where Amar held the roles of AVP, Technical Lead/Project Manager, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Earlier career experience at Terasoft International involved work as a Programmer. Amar holds a Master of Science degree from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Andhra University.
