Tim Bender has extensive work experience in corporate real estate, holding senior positions in various companies. Tim started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1997 as the Director of Real Estate & Facilities. Tim then joined AllianceBernstein in 2002 as a Vice President & Broker of Record. In 2006, they moved to CIT as a Senior Vice President in Global Real Estate. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at Merck as the Senior Director of Global Real Estate. In 2011, they joined TD as the Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Real Estate until 2016. After that, they worked at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) as a Council Member. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Real Estate at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico.

Tim Bender has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Real Estate from New York University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering Technology from New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1992. Tim also holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Civil Engineering Technology from City University of New York-College of Staten Island, which they achieved from 1985 to 1991. Additionally, Tim has obtained several certifications including LEED GA from USGBC in 2012, Senior Leader Corporate Real Estate from CoreNet Global in 2006, Management A from Real Estate Board of New York in 2004, and Facility Management Administrator from BOMA in 1996.
