Benjamin Winters is a Co-Founder of Population Explorer, Inc. since 2022. From 2007 to 2014, they were COO and Co-Founder of Akros, and also held the roles of Regional Director, Africa and Country Director, Zambia. In their role as Regional Director, Africa, they managed Akros Africa country directors and regional team, developing organizational synergies across diverse and remote divisions with emphasis on developing innovative, high performance teams. Benjamin also developed new relationships with prospective and current host country governments, prospective and current donor country governments and large philanthropic organizations, and oversaw Akros business development and HR management systems. As Country Director, Zambia, they managed Akros directors, shaping corporate trajectory and ensuring productive synergy among high level staff, and nurtured critical relationships among senior government clientele in U.S. Since 2014, they have been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Montana School of Public and Community Health Sciences.
Benjamin Winters earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from Taylor University in 1999. Benjamin then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Liverpool in International Business.
