Population Matters
Lisa Mitchell currently serves as the Managing Director of Finance and Operations at Metals Focus Data Limited, overseeing both financial and operational aspects of the consulting business specializing in precious metals research. Additionally, Lisa is a Board Member and Treasurer for Population Matters, as well as Chair of the Finance, Risk, Investment, and Audit Committee. Prior to these roles, Lisa served as a Trustee and Board Member for Girlguiding London & South East region, contributing to the organization's governance and compliance. Lisa's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at PwC, where responsibilities included leading finance teams and delivering financial management services, and a role as a Global Implementation Consultant at Andersen, focusing on financial applications across multiple countries. Educational qualifications include ACA Membership from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in New Zealand and a Bachelor of Business from Auckland University of Technology.

Population Matters is a UK-based charity working globally to achieve a future in which our population co-exists in harmony with nature and prospers on a healthy planet, to the benefit of all. We promote positive, practical, ethical solutions – encouraging smaller families, inspiring people to consume sustainably, with the aim of enabling everyone to enjoy a decent quality of life whilst respecting and sustaining the natural ecosystems upon which all life on earth depends. We empower choice. In a world of finite resources our reproductive and consumption choices are critical for achieving that vision of humanity in harmony with nature, prospering on a healthy planet.
