Mark Ackerman

Mark Ackerman is an accomplished CFO and Data Translator at Populi, where since May 2009, Mark has been instrumental in translating legacy databases for numerous colleges into a superior data architecture, while also managing business administration and serving as corporate secretary and treasurer. Prior to Populi, Mark worked as an Occupation Data Specialist at Lightcast from August 2007 to July 2009, where Mark created extensive labor market data by aggregating and validating government information and collaborating on staffing patterns and wage statistics. Mark served in the US Navy from July 2001 to July 2007 as an Electrician aboard the USS Hurricane and USS Whirlwind, focusing on big diesel engines. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Idaho and has undergone rigorous training at the United States Naval Academy and Nuclear Power School.
