Regina Clewlow is the co-founder and CEO of Populus, a technology company that is working to make it easier for people to move around cities. Regina was previously the Director of Transportation Research & Policy at RideScout (acquired by Daimler) and the Director of Business Development & Strategy at moovel (formerly RideScout and GlobeSherpa, acquired and merged in 2016). Prior to their work in the private sector, Regina was a Lecturer and Research Scientist at Stanford University, where they focused on the future of mobility, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley, where they conducted research on urban analytics. Regina began their career as the Kendall Science Fellow at the Union of Concerned Scientists, where they worked on clean vehicle technologies. Regina also served as the Founding Executive Director of Engineers for a Sustainable World.

Regina Clewlow began their educational career at Cornell University, where they earned a B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science. Regina then went on to earn an M.E. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. After working as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, they earned a Ph.D. in Transportation and Energy Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
