Benjamin Trotter

Benjamin Trotter has a diverse work experience in various engineering and research roles. Benjamin currently works at Porex as a Product Development Engineer since January 2023. Prior to this, Benjamin worked at Solvay as a Senior Materials Engineer from May 2022 to January 2023, as a Materials Engineer II from May 2019 to May 2022, and as a Materials Engineer I from September 2017 to May 2019. Before joining Solvay, Benjamin was a Research Associate at Clemson Textiles Research Lab from March 2015 to May 2017. Benjamin also gained experience as an Intern/Installer at Smarter Systems from April 2013 to August 2013, where they installed and maintained various SMART technologies in local schools and businesses.

Benjamin Trotter pursued their higher education at Clemson University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal degree, Benjamin obtained a certification as a SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Design - Associate from Dassault Systèmes in April 2015.
