Stewart Warrender

Stewart Warrender is an accomplished professional in the field of porous materials, currently serving as the Head of Research and Development at Porex since November 2023. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews, Stewart has extensive experience in both research and industry. Previously, as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews from January 2019 to December 2023, focus was directed towards the technical and commercial development of porous materials for medical devices. Prior roles include Head of Research and Technology at MOFgen Ltd, where innovative Metal Organic Frameworks were developed for medical applications, and extensive consultancy and research positions at the University of St Andrews and Silberline, emphasizing the commercialization of materials and scalable processes.
