Portage AI builds specialized AI automation for financial services — operational intelligence at the speed of your business.

Our mission is to free financial institutions from legacy and overly-complex business systems by eliminating the manual data bottlenecks that slow them down. Our AI reads, extracts, and structures the data buried in documents and spreadsheets, turning days or weeks of work into hours — delivering substantial cost savings, faster operations, and enhanced profitability.

We do it differently. We train AI on each client's own data, documents, and workflows — so it's tuned to how you actually work, not a generic LLM forced to fit — and our industry experts review every exception. We guarantee the agreed accuracy in writing. Running at 90%+ model accuracy, the models sharpen with every document they process.

Founded by technology and financial services executives who modernized the world's most complex financial businesses, Portage AI has offices in London and New York, serving commercial specialty and life (re)insurance, private credit, and commercial real estate.

A portage — from the Old French porter, "to carry" — is the moving of goods (or data!) overland from one body of water to another, around whatever obstacle stands in the way. That's what we do: we carry your most complex operations forward to an AI powered operation your own team can sustain.
