Yi Chen

Yi Chen has significant work experience in the field of technology and software development. They started their career at MROffice Limited in 2010 as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2012. They then moved on to Bauer Media Group NZ, where they held various roles including Software Developer, Senior Developer, Technical Lead, and Development Practice Lead from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, Yi Chen joined Fraedom as a Solutions Architect, where they were responsible for managing the solutions strategy and vision for identity and membership platforms. They led a team of 15 members and were in charge of providing practical application and integration solutions, communication, delivery process, and risk management. Currently, Yi Chen is the Head of Engineering at PORTAINER, a position they started in 2020.

Yi Chen earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Shanghai University from 2004 to 2008. During the same time period, Yi Chen also pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law from the University of Technology Sydney. Later, from 2008 to 2010, Yi Chen obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Auckland.
