Roy Ekkelenkamp

Roy Ekkelenkamp has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Roy started their career in 2003 as a Consultant at the University of Twente. In 2005, they had internships at Vertis and Royal HaskoningDHV, where they worked as a Master Thesis Student. From 2006 to 2016, they worked at Royal FloraHolland, holding positions such as Business & Information Analyst, Information Manager, and Team Manager. At Portbase, they worked from 2016 onwards, starting as a Business Manager/Product Owner, then progressing to Agile Lead, Manager of DevOps teams, and currently serving as Manager of Business Line Services. Additionally, they worked at Oxygen Events as a Project Lead/Instructor from 2001 to 2006.

Roy Ekkelenkamp began their education journey in 2000 at the University of Twente, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Technische bedrijfskunde / Industrial engineering and management. Roy completed this degree in 2006. In 2009, Roy attended APICS to attain a certification in Supply Chain Management, known as CSCP. Later in 2017, they pursued various certifications, including Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org, Professional Scrum Master I also from Scrum.org, and DASA DevOps Fundamentals and Professional: Enable & Scale from DASA. In 2018, Roy obtained the AWS Certified Practitioner certification from AWS.
