Ian Williams

Ian Williams is a Senior Programme Manager at Porterbrook, where they currently oversee various projects, including the Cl769/4 Flex project and the Class 458/5 conversion project. Previously, Ian served as a Senior Project Manager at Porterbrook and led multiple initiatives in collaboration with partners such as Innovate UK and South Western Railway. Having begun their career as a Quantity Surveyor at Hertel, Ian transitioned to roles in production coordination and business consulting, notably managing Interfleet's Business Consulting team and working on significant tenders and projects. Ian earned a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University.
