We believe strategically aligned organisations who focus their limited resources on what matters most are best placed to achieve their vision.

Portfolio Consulting is an independent executive advisory practice based in Adelaide, working with organisations across South Australia and beyond.

We help purpose-led, privately owned, and not-for-profit organisations get more value from their technology investments — not through big reports or silver bullets, but by improving alignment, clarity, and decision-making at the top.

Most of our clients have 25 to 200 seats and are navigating growth, change, or complexity. They want clear direction, practical advice, and to make informed decisions that reduce risk and move them forward.

We’re not a traditional consulting firm. We don’t write 100-page reports or try to take over. We work directly with decision-makers, bring real executive and board experience, and focus on clarity, speed, and outcomes.

Our clients don’t need to be tech experts — that’s our job. We align business strategy with technology investment, helping leaders cut through the noise with practical tools, plain advice, and decision-ready insights.

We specialise in:
• Board and executive advisory
• Critical decision support
• Business-aligned technology strategy
• Independent assurance and vendor reviews
• Technology governance, risk, and operating models

Led by Dave Brown, Portfolio Consulting brings 20+ years of experience in strategy, technology, and executive leadership — including board roles, private equity engagements, and sector expertise across healthcare, construction, and professional services.

If you're looking for independent, executive-level advice to help your organisation move forward with confidence — let's talk.
