Portman is an independent recruitment consultancy and an Employment Business and we specialise in the provision of employment services in the social care sector.

Working with qualified social care professionals, our role is to help them and our clients by effectively matching the right people into their ideal work placements around the United Kingdom and then delivering an efficient and problem free employment service to all concerned. We are very aware of the need for us to protect both individual workers and our clients by providing a financially stable and ‘new rules’ IR35 compliant contracting environment as a fundamental part of that service.

As an employment business we never lose sight of the fact that our people, that is those that work with and through us, are our business. Every one that works through Portman has direct contact with a member of our consultancy team who will take ownership of any query or issue and resolve it.
